The essentials

This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking, no analytics services and no Google services. Fonts, images and the video are stored on this server.

Server logs

When the site is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested file and browser identifier in order to deliver and secure the site. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This site is hosted by easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Wien, Austria. Logs are kept only as long as secure operation requires; the host sets the exact period.

Contact form

If you use the form, your name, email address and message are sent to me by email so that I can reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The message is not stored on this server. I keep the email until your request has been dealt with, unless a legal obligation requires longer.

An automatic confirmation of receipt without your text goes to your address, at most once per day.

To protect against abuse, the server briefly stores check values (hashes) of the IP address and email address together with the time. They are deleted after 24 hours (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Purchase via itch.io

The full version is sold through itch.io. You only leave this site when you click the purchase link there. The terms and privacy policy of itch.io apply to the purchase. This site loads no content from itch.io.

The game

Budkeeper itself collects and transmits no personal data. Your progress and settings stay only on your device.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde). If you have questions, write to the address above.
